I Repelled off a 60-foot Tower!!

My husband is on the SWAT team and they were doing some training yesterday. My husband asked me if I would take some photos of them which I was happy to do. So toward the end, I was getting up enough courage to want to try and repel myself. I didn't have any tennis-shoes on so I was told to go barefoot, no big deal. My biggest fear was getting over the side of the building so they were nice enough and had me go out the top window; however, I didn't feel too confident in getting that accomplished at first. So instead of trying to get into the correct position right from the window, I sat on the edge, put my legs straight out and Don pushed me right out and there I was, hanging in mid air! Had to try to calm my breathing because I am terribly scared of heights. Once I got that partially under control I was able to slowly make my way down the side of the building. What a RUSH! But seriously, how often would I have a chance to do something like that again! It was worth it.

Portfolio Items

Wanted to quick note that I have some new designs posted in my portfolio page. I just completed an awesome web site for Jennie Fresa, a makeup consultant specializing in bridal makeup located in Connecticut. It was a lot of fun putting her site together.

I also have a new testimonial posted. Some of my recently designed albums are there for viewing so please take a few moments to look through them. I would like to specialize in the creation of wedding albums but there are many other albums that can be designed too. Some of which would include an album from a newborn session, a children session, or maybe an album from multiple sessions such as a newborn up to being 1 year old. In my spare time, I will try to create one of my daughter and get that posted. Other album designs could include images from a high school senior session or even a family photo session.

And if you are wondering... my mom is on her way to becoming quite the photographer so if you or anyone you know are in need of a photographer, please contact us! I do intend on creating a few pages for her photography to be listed on the web site as well. So look for that sometime soon!!!
